Easton Area High School's field hockey team defeated Phillipsburg Wednesday in a 2-1 sudden-death overtime win at the Phillipsburg Athletic Complex.
After a scoreless first half, Katie O'Neil put Easton on the board with a goal scored off a penalty corner.
Several minutes later the Stateliners responded with a goal, sending the game into sudden-death overtime.
