Easton school board will give community group more time to present ideas for old administration building.

The Easton Area School Board had planned to vote Tuesday night on the future of the school district's .
But that vote had to be put on hold after community leaders who had planned to present their ideas for ways to use the building couldn't make Tuesday's meeting.
There's also the matter of a $5,000 state grant to determine the best ways community groups could use the building, said board member Frank Pintabone.

Because of the way the grant was administered, the city of Easton -- and not the district -- "would be on the hook" for that money if the board acted too soon, Pintabone said.Â
The building is in need of several repairs and has been vacant for years. The district currently only uses it for storage.
