Easton Falls to Allentown Central Catholic, 3-1
In eight innings, Easton and Central Catholic fought to break the 1-1 score. Central's pitching stood out, and they came up with two additional runs for the win against Easton.
In another extra innings game, Easton and Allentown Central Catholic battled for a win. This time, it ended in the eighth. Easton made key defensive plays in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to hold off Central players in scoring position. Central Catholic came up with two runs at the end to clinch it, and Easton struggled to hit against the toughest pitching they have seen yet this season. The Rovers took their third loss for the year.
24 outs per side in this game and Central pitcher David Rosenberger threw for nineteen strikeouts. Rosenberger, a junior, has committed to the University of Virginia, where he will play baseball.
"I knew it was going to be a tough game. Luckily we came out on top," Rosenberger said following the game.

Greg Butto and Jon Bisci singled for Easton, and Kevin Nemeth tripled. Colin Case brought Butto in on an RBI for Easton's run.

Easton will play Wednesday at Allen. On Saturday, they'll meet Phillipsburg at Hackett's Park.
