Easton Man Accused of Molesting Girl

An Easton man was jailed Tuesday after police charged him with molesting a teenaged girl in her South Side home in April.

City police say Raul Ramirez, 32, touched the 14-year-old's breast and thigh while visiting her home on the 400 block of West Berwick Street on April 2. According to the arrest affidavit, Ramirez was a friend of the girl's family.

Police say the girl later picked Ramirez from a photo line-up. He is charged with indecent assault and harassment. He was arraigned Tuesday before , and sent to in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Court records list two addresses for Ramirez: one on the 1000 block of West Berwick, and another on the 500 block of Valley Street. He is in the country illegally, and needed an interpreter during Tuesday's arraignment.
