Easton Man Jailed on Robbery Charges

An Easton man was jailed Friday morning in connection with an attack earlier this year near a Downtown nightclub.

Jeff Gonzalez, 19, of 1313 Washington St., Apt. 2, is charged with robbery, simple assault and theft.

According to , Gonzalez was part of a group of men who got into an altercation on January 8 with patrons of , a club on Northampton Street. Later on in the evening, Gonzalez attacked one of those patrons, Kevin Cabrera, on the 500 block of Northampton Street and took his debit card and earrings. 

Police were later to identify Cabrera's attackers in part due to a witness who knew some of them men involved and showed investigators their pictures on Facebook.

Gonzalez was arraigned before , and sent to in lieu of $25,000 bail.
