Easton Police: Man Tried To Lure Girl

are looking for a man who apparently tried to convince a girl to get into his car Tuesday night in the West Ward.

According to police, the man asked a 9-year-old girl to "hop in" to his car as he drove through the 100 block of S. 11th Street around 7:37 p.m.

Police say the girl did not know the man, who drove a newer model, bright yellow four-door sedan. 

The man was black or Hispanic with short brown hair, a thin mustache, and thin build. Police say he was wearing a blue V-neck shirt.
