Easton School Board Keeps Same Leadership

The Easton Area School Board will have the same leadership in 2013.

Board members re-elected Robert Fehnel as their president at Wednesday night's reorganization meeting. William Rider will stay on as vice-president.

The board made this choice after member Frank Pintabone made a motion to simply keep Fehnel and Rider in their current positions, rather than take nominations.

The vote was unanimous, although board member Robert Moskaitis said it was important to have debate on the matter.

Fehnel and Rider were elected to the board last year. Fehnel served for years on the Wilson Area School Board before moving to the Easton Area School District. Rider is a former principal at Easton Area High School.
