Easton Wins at Emmaus, 9-3
Easton produced sixth inning hits to come from behind and lead Emmaus. Final was 9-3. Both schools had overall records of 6-3 going into Thursday's game. With this win, Easton moves to 7-3.
The sixth inning is turning out to be the turning point in Easton baseball. Tuesday at Emmaus, six hits in the sixth alone turned the game around and Easton cruised to their third straight victory.
Key plays:
Justin Souders saved the Rovers in the second inning by striking out two batters with bases loaded. Souders threw for six innings and Alex Lawson was the relief pitcher.

In the third, Greg Butto hit a home run. Connor Mulrine had a double. Emmaus quickly matched Easton's point and took it further with Brian Velasco's fifth inning home run.
In the sixth, Easton faced a 3-1 score and a need to score runs. Colin Case batted a single, followed by a home run from Jon Bisci. Connor Mulrine hit his second game double, then Zach Olah singled. Austin Brown doubled, and Chase Bryant doubled.

In the seventh, third baseman Kevin Nemeth hit a home run. Connor Mulrine hit his third game double, and Zach Olah singled. On an errant throw, Olah and Mulrine each advanced with Mulrine scoring.
"It's a nice day out. I felt good. I was trying to take advantage of first pitch strikes, and they were giving them to us. Things fell where they did," said Connor Mulrine, a senior left fielder.
