Easton Zoner Running For City Council
James Eddinger says he'll run for Mike Fleck's seat on Easton council.

A longtime member of Easton's Zoning Hearing Board says he wants to run for City Council.
Jim Edinger announced Tuesday he wants to fill the seat that will be left vacant by Councilman Mike Fleck, who is choosing not to run for re-election.
“I want to see safer neighborhoods all over this City,” Edinger said in a news release. “As much as downtown is changing for the better, I want to bring that change to every part of Easton, to make this City a better place to live for all residents."

Since 1993, Edinger has served as chairman of the Easton's zoning hearing board, and said he will use that experience to help improve the city. He was also chairman of the city Democratic Commitee from 2001 to 2011.
Edinger has lived in the West Ward since 1984, and would represent that neighbhorhood if elected.
