The program for the October 11 meeting of theEaston Couturiere will be presented by Pamela Ptak, a fashion designer,who worked on fashion collections for NY Fashion week and Paris Haute Couture for 5 years before launching her own ready to wear collection in 2009. Pamela was one of 16 contestants chosen for Project Runway season 7 and she was honored by Tim Gunn who said her garments were among the most beautifully constructed he had ever seen and that she was "on the cusp of something big". Pamela has recently opened her own Arts and Fashion Institute school. (www.artsandfashioninstitute.com ) Pamela's program will be"Artistic Color Harmonies" Members will learn fun new ways to createtheir own color schemes. There will be hand outs,samples and evaluating tools for a hands on learning experience.
