History of Roseto, Part II

Mayor Desiree DeNicola will continue her account of the
celebration of Roseto’s Cent’Anni, 100^th anniversary of the town’s
incorporation, with photos and articles about the residents and about the
DeNicola family itself and how it illustrates the tight community environment.
She will describe the contents of the 1987 time capsule and the parade that
will feature three judges and the district attorney, all with ties to the area.
She will be accompanied by Angela Herrlinger, author of Family Faith &
Community: The Italian Experience in the Pa Slate Belt, who will give some
history of Roseto;  and by Angie D'Iorio, who will describe the walking
tours of Roseto.
