Meet the Author and Illustrator of "Colonel Washington & Me"

Meet the local author, Jeffrey Finegan, and illustrator, Preston Hindmarch, who collaborated on the book, "Colonel Washington & Me." The book chronicles the close bonds that developed between our nation's first President and his slave, William Lee, who became Washington's trusted valet. "Colonel Washington & Me" is the first book that centers on the relationship between the two men. Finnegan and Hindmarch will sign copies of the book, which are available for purchase before the talk.
