Movies at the Mill.Easton
What started out as a casual conversation between Easton Mayor, Sal Panto and filmmaker, Gershon Hinkson, about the fate and future of the city-owned Simon Silk Mill, resulted in a festive and glorious evening in 2009, foreshadowing the property’s potential and the city’s economic future. It was called, “Movies at the Mill. Easton” (MME) and attracted more than 900 attendees.
As the festival grows and takes shape Movies At The Mill continues to work on new ways to maintain a focus on promoting the art and the industry behind quality filmmaking; all while celebrating the beauty, the wonder and most importantly the possibilities of Easton, Pennsylvania and the greater Lehigh Valley.
