The Fri 7/22, 8am-10am, meeting of the Alliance Transition Group, is a Field Day -- we will meet at Gene and Dan Hunters' place, 901 Frost Hollow Rd Easton Pa 18040 (Hunter Hill Farm ) to see the CSA Dan has been running for the past two growing seasons. We'll look over the farm and see how things are grown using organic practices . We will also explore the beginnings and plans for an edible forest garden (Gene and Dan have read some of Dave Jacke & Eric Toensmeier’s book "Edible Forest Gardens " to help with ideas for setting up their garden).
You are cordially invited to visit our 12 acre property Hunter Hill Farms this Friday morning the 22nd of July From 8 to 10 AM to get firsthand, knowledge of how a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) enterprise works.
Throughout the season growing of fruits such as apples, wine berries , watermelon and vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, summer squash, snap peas, cucumbers and mushrooms ( oyster and shitake) are planned .
The Alliance for Sustainable Communities of the Lehigh Valley's Transition Town group meets every friday and we will have a brief meeting about current Transition Town issues as well

Directions from 22 eastbound , just before the Jersey Bridge Get off at 4th st . go left then left again at 3rd then a quick right at 611 north sign, if you start to go up the hill to the college you missed the turn. There is a small white sign for Hunter Hill Farm you can see on Frost Hollow, Go up the dirt drive there and take right at 901 sign to red ranch ahead .
