Local warrior, David Heard died from cancer in 2011 but wanted to bring awareness to the gold ribbon and keep funding childhood cancer research.
David’s Warriors was created to support St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which funds the most childhood cancer research after the United States government.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
