Folkloric fusion and styling with Jennifer Anya Imashev

Bring folkloric style into your Belly Dance performance with Jennifer Anya Imashev from Everafter Belly Dance.

This workshop will focus on multiple music and dance styles, bringing it all together for you with a focus on foot work, upper body and hip accents. We will also go over how rhythm and melodies can be utilized to add an extra style element to you dance by drilling with timing and layers( 1/4 note, 1/2 note and whole note time signatures). Jennifer will also go over some folkloric styles of Belly Dance, and other cultural folk dance styles, to layer them over your Belly Dance moves. If time allows we will put it all together with a short choreography.
