Former Cadmus Plant Sold

The building that once housed Cadmus Specialty Publications on Northampton Street has been sold, according to The Express-Times.

The vacant Cadmus Specialty Publications plant in Wilson Borough has been purchased by an area business looking to expand, according to a story by The Express Times.

The property sold for $1.68 million in July to 1991 Northampton Street LCC, according to Northampton County property records, the story said. The New York address listed by the new owner is the headquarters for Safavieh Carpet, which is a global rug and furniture company that operates a warehouse at 2410 Northampton St.

Cadmus Specialty Publications , putting 195 people out of work at the Northampton Street plant.
