Former Members Seek Easton School Board Seat

Two former Easton Area School Board members are among the five candidates hoping to fill a vacant seat on the board.

According to the Morning Call, ex-board members Jodi Hess and Richard Siegfried have applied to fill the seat left open by the resignation of Robert Arnts earlier this month. They are joined by Geri McKelvey, Larry Weiss and Baron Vanderburg, all hoping to serve the district's Palmer Township-based Region One.

Siegfried served on the board for eight years, and ran for office again last year, but failed to win enough votes . Hess also lost in last year's primary after serving her first term on the board.
