Free Book Raffles and Crafts, a Bake Sale, and More - Boscov's Hosts Library Back-to-School Event

Take the kids to make crafts and register for a free children’s book at Boscov’s in the Palmer Park Mall from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 24.

Our teen group will be running our free book raffles. Adults can win a copy of J. K. Rowling's The Cuckoo's Calling or Orange Is the New Black by Piper Kierman. Kids can sign up for one of six age-appropriate children's books.

Visit our Junior Friends of the Library who’ll have crafts like making a pencil case for the children, while adults can shop our bake sale and learn about the Library’s fall programming.  You’ll find us at the interior Mall entrance by the Junior Department.

 We’ll also be selling hot dogs and cold drinks as a fundraiser in the Seasonal Department. While you’re there, you might want to buy a “Friends Helping Friends” 25% Savings Pass to be used at Boscov’s all day on Tuesday, October 22. The Savings Pass costs $5 with the entire amount going to benefit the Library.

 Boscov’s will also have a free raffle of back to school items.

All proceeds from the Bake Sale and Hot Dog Sale will go toward Children’s Programming.
