Man Accused in Christmas Eve Shooting Headed to Trial

Police say John McGlinchey, of Bucks County, shot an Easton woman in her home.

A Bucks County man accused in the fatal shooting of an Easton woman on Christmas Eve is headed to trial.

According to police, John McGlinchey III, 46, shot Kimiko Moon, of 200 Vista Drive, in her home late on December 24. Moon lingered on life support for a little more than a week before dying in St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill.

On Friday, District Judge Daniel Corpora ruled there was enough evidence to take McGlinchey to trial. He is charged with criminal homicide, and attempted homicide, because he also shot Kimiko's 17-year-old nephew Marquis. Marqis survived the attack, and testified Friday against the man accused of shooting him.
