Mensch to Appeal Conviction in Handgun Case

The Express-Times is reporting that State Senator Bob Mensch (R-24) will appeal his May 9 conviction for disorderly conduct.

The conviction is in relation to an incident that occurred on Interstate 78, in which Mensch is said to have displayed a handgun.

According to the article, Mensch plans to appeal in order to "preserve his reputation."

Mensch's district includes municipalities in Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh and Northampton counties, including Easton and Williams Township.
