Missing Woman's Body Found on Palmer Bike Trail
Police were called to the Palmer Township Bike Path at 5:50 p.m. Friday.

Palmer Township Police have confirmed that a body found on the Palmer Township Bike Path Friday night was that of a missing Wilson woman.
Michelle Ahart had been reported missing in the morning.
Police said the woman's death is not considered suspicious.
Police were called to a section of the bike path, about 1.5 miles west of Riverview Park, at 5:50 p.m. They found the woman's body on the south side of the path, about 10 feet over an embankment.
The woman's family, who had found her, was already there and confirmed the identity. Â
Palmer Township Detectives and The Northampton County Coroner’s Office are investigating. Police said, however, there was no danger to the public.

Palmer Township firefighters were called to help remove the body because of the rough terrain and heavy brush.
An autopsy will be scheduled through Northampton County Coroner’s Office to determine how Ahart died.Palmer Township Detectives and The Northampton County Coroner’s Office are investigating. Police said, however, there was no danger to the public.
