Police: Easton Woman Hit Mother With Iron

An Easton woman was jailed Saturday night after allegedly hitting her mother in the head with a clothes iron.

City police say Lethesha Middleton, 20, of West Klienhans Street, struck her mother during an argument at their home.

According to the Express-Times, Middleton's mother, Leanne, was found by police bleeding from a headwound. Lethesha was charged with simple assault and harassment, and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
