Police: Former Employee Robs Easton Store

Easton police say a man armed with a CO2 pistol robbed the Square One Market.

say a man who used to work at the Square One Exxon station returned to rob it early Sunday morning.

According to police, Jesse James Kelly used a CO2 pistol to hold up the convenience store at 158 S. Third St. at around 1:41 a.m., getting away with cigarettes and an unknown amount of cash.

Kelly, 20, of the 100 block of Lachenour Ave., was picked up by police a little while later near the Free Bridge, with the pistol and the stolen items.

He was charged with robbery, theft, recieving stolen property, and possession of instruments of crime, and sent to in lieu of $100,000 bail.
