Police: Man Test Drove Bike, Never Returned

Wilson police say a Bethlehem man took a motorcycle from a borough auto dealer for a test drive, and then never returned.
According to police, Christopher Ridgeway, 40, of 1008 E. Third St., test drove the $6,000 2004 Honda on June 1, but never brought it back to the dealership, on the 1600 block of Spruce Street in Wilson.
The motorcycle turned up three weeks later in Bethlehem, where it was impounded. Soon after that, according to court documents, the dealership notified police that they'd identified Ridgeway.

He was jailed Monday on theft charges after being unable to post bail.
