Police Say Man Stole Coins from Fountain

A New Jersey man wound up in jail Tuesday night after he allegedly went fishing for coins in the fountain in .
David Zairo, 53, of Phillipsburg, was found by police inside the fountain, according to WFMZ.
Police said he had been walking through the fountain collecting coins, and carrying an open liquor bottle. Zairo was charged with public drunkenness, and desecrating the city's Civil War monument. He was sent to in lieu of $10,000 bail.
