Police: Wilson Man Wielded Baseball Bat in Attack

A Wilson man was jailed Monday night after allegedly attacking two people with a baseball bat.

Borough police say Shane Wolfe, 18, of 2300 Forest St., second floor, struck one person with the metal bat in a fight at 23rd and Forest streets around 9:21 p.m. Police said Wolfe hit one man twice in the head with the bat, and threatened a woman with it.

Wolfe was arraigned before on-duty in Easton, and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, attempted simple assault, and reckless endangerment.
