Police: Wilson Sex Offender Didn't Register
Easton police say a man who moved from to Wilson from Georgia was supposed to register as a sex offender, but didn't.

A man who recently moved to Wilson borough was arrested Tuesday in Easton on a warrant issued by authorities in his former home in Georgia because he had failed to register as a sex offender in Pennsylvania, according to court records.
Devon Lamont Young, 20, of 2301 Freemansburg Ave., was picked up by on the 900 block of Ferry Street at a little before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Young had been convicted of statutory rape in Gwinnett County, Georgia in 2011, the court papers say.

He “unregistered” as a sex offender in Georgia on June 11 and provided a forwarding address in Pennsylvania, but then never registered after he arrived, the records say.
Young was committed to in lieu of $300,000 bail following his arraignment before night duty District Judge Joseph Barner. An extradition back to Georgia may be imminent.
