Police: Woman Runs Out of Gas, Fights Cops

Lydina Simpson, 22, of Easton is charged with resisting arrest, simple assault.

Having your car run out of gas might make you angry.

When it happened to Lydina Simpson, 22, of Easton, she got so angry that she began yelling obsecneities in the 600 block of Walnut Street early Friday morning, according to .

Police said in a news release that when officers responded to the disturbance, Simpson "refused to cooperate," and tried to resist arrest by kicking at them and trying to wrestle away from them.

Simpson, of 308 Palmer St., will be charged via summons with simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and driving with a suspended* license.
