Poll: Does Easton Need a Bill of Rights?

What do you think about Easton's proposed "citizens bill of rights"?

Last week, Easton got its first look at a proposed citizens' bill of rights.

"This isn't citizens trying to impose anything on the city," said Dennis Lieb, one of the authors of the bill, quoted in the Express Times. "This is the citizens and the city working together to take back what is already theirs."

The bill, which will go before council on July 11, includes a number of goals, including giving residents more local control and corporations less influence over city affairs.
