Rovers Defend Against Allen
"It was a nice comeback after a tough loss," said Easton coach Carm LaDuca following Wednesday's win. Easton's overall record moves to 5-3 (3-2 conference).
Just as the sun broke through the clouds Wednesday afternoon, the Rovers batted in solid hits to break their two game losing streak. They outplayed Allen, 7-1.
“It was a nice comeback after a tough loss,” said Easton head coach Carm LaDuca.
Easton's Jon Bisci hit a home run, Greg Butto hit a triple, and Scott Anderson batted for two doubles and four game RBIs. Conor Mulrine hit one double. Jon Bisci pitched for the game, and picked up the win. He tallied six strikeouts.

For Allen, Adam Guzman and Peter Brito each had one double. The run was scored on Ronniel Garcia's RBI.
“Jon Bisci had a great effort on the mound,” coach LaDuca said following the game.

The Rovers have a busy week ahead, with six games in 5 days, said the coach. They will play Saturday against Phillipsburg. Last Saturday’s game against Bethleham Catholic is set for Monday morning, followed by games Tuesday (at Emmaus), Thursday and Saturday.
“We’re going to find out a lot about ourselves [going forward],” stated the coach.
