Contemporary folk harmony duo Terry Kitchen & Mara Levine will be performing at Nanuet Library, 149 Church St., Nanuet, on Sunday March 20 at 1 PM. Also performing will be New York folksinger Robin Greenstein. The concert is presented by the Borderline Folk Music Club. Tickets are $20 ($15 for Borderline Folk Music Club members). Terry Kitchen, called "one of New England's finest songwriters" by the Boston Globe, and Mara Levine, called "one of the finest singers of her generation" by Christine Lavin, have been performing together since 2008. They released a duo EP in 2012, and Mara appears on 4 tracks on Terry's new solo CD The Post-American Century, which reached #19 on the national Folk-DJ radio chart. Kitchen's songs have won the USA Songwriting Competition and the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest and been runner up in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and Mara's 2013 CD Jewels and Harmony was the most played folk CD in January of that year.
