Three People Hospitalized in Wilson Crash

Three people were sent to the hospital Monday afternoon following a head-on crash in Wilson.

The accident was reported around 5:30 p.m. on South 25th Street, where the road turns into an S-curve.

According to the Express-Times, the crash happened when a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Easton resident Jessica Ellis was heading north on the road and slid into the opposite lane.

She collided with another driver, Darlene Greenleaf, 40, of Glendon. Greenlead, Ellis and Ellis' passanger, Thomas Smith, 33, of Easton, were all treated at St. Luke's University Hopsital. The extent of their injuries was not clear.
