All kidding aside the in Easton hosted this year's Easton Area USBC Bowling Association tournament, three games were in full swing from noon to two pm, with two more brackets set to compete at three and six pm.
A non-member walking into the Fleas Club is a bit like a steak walking into a lion's den, and the journey to the end of a long hallway, and down a dim-lit staircase feels a bit like it might be your last. The club boasts six pristine lanes. All of which were in heavy use today. The lanes were installed in the twenties, and as the club expanded, and remodeled the doors where the lanes were brought in had been sealed up. The lanes had fallen out of shape until Brunswick Bowling came in an repaired the machinery on site.
For these gentlemen, bowling is more than a sport. Holy Family Club Member Steve Janny said, "It's about the friendships. Some of the people I bowl with have bowled with me since I was eight-years old."
