Wilson Police Investigate Bizarre Assault Case

Police say Wilson woman attacked, but has no memory of the incident.

Police in Wilson say they have "more questions than answers" in dealing with an assault case in which the victim has no memory of what happened.

According to the Express-Times, a woman who lives on the 2000 block of Washington Street was attacked in her home Sunday night.

However, the woman has no memory of the attack, the paper reported. She answered a knock at her door, but remembers only touching the door knob. The rest is apparently a blur; her next memory, police said, is a friend checking on her Monday afternoon.
