Woman Calls Easton Rapist "a Demon"
Edgar Sanchez gets three-to-eight years in Christmas party rape in Easton.

A Phillipsburg man will spend at least the next three years in state prison for raping a woman in Easton earlier this year.
And that woman told a Northampton County courtroom Friday that she can't forgive Sanchez for what he did.
"Forgiveness cannot be granted to such a demon," the woman testified, according to the Morning Call. "I have become the girl who carries Mace with her wherever I go. I find myself constantly looking over my shoulder."

The newspaper says Sanchez -- who pleaded guilty -- will likely be deported after finishing a three-to-eight year prison term.
According to Easton police, Sanchez, 29, of 38 Fulton St., was at a Christmas party on the 100 block of Wayne Street on the night of Jan. 9.

Police say the woman was another guest at the party. She went upstairs to sleep in a bedroom at the house after drinking four to five glasses of wine. She woke up to find Sanchez on top of her.
When interviewed by police, Sanchez admitted to the rape and asked to write a letter asking the woman's forgiveness.
