Today's riddle: What is the difference between black eyed peas and chick peas? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Lehigh County food safety inspections for the week of Sept. 7-13 (spotlightpa.org) — Emmaus diners can breathe a little easier this week: The Railyard Kitchen and The Railyard Tasting Room on Bank Street both passed recent state food safety inspections with no violations. The report also details issues found at several other Lehigh County establishments, explaining how inspectors classify high, moderate, and low-priority violations so you can better understand local restaurant safety.
• Lehigh Valley boys soccer: Emmaus coach John Cari reaches win milestone (mcall.com) — Emmaus soccer fans have a big reason to celebrate as longtime Green Hornets coach and alumnus John Cari has tied the Lehigh Valley all-time boys soccer wins record after a 2-0 victory over Northampton. With Emmaus still unbeaten and yet to concede a goal this season, Thursday night's home match against Dieruff could make him the area's winningest boys soccer coach ever.
