East Penn Summer Fitness Camp Registration Now Open

Flyers about the East Penn School District went home with elementary school students in this week.

Registration is now open for East Penn School District’s Summer Fitness Camp, which will be held at this year. The fitness camp is open to students in grades one through six and the cost for the five-week program is $55.

The fitness camp features low-impact fitness activities and non-competitive games taught by certified physical education teachers from East Penn School District. The goal of the program is to give participants the tools they need to become healthy, physically active adults.

The 2012 camp will run from July 10 through August 9 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday. Two sessions are planned: Session I - 9:30 to 11 a.m. and Session II - 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

According to the flyer, space in the program is limited, and a lottery system will be used if more than 100 students try to register. Completed registration forms must be received by June 1.

Parents/guardians will need to provide transportation.
