Pitch Black is dedicated to the preservation of pure funk and all the fresh intergalactic dance. They soulfully deliver tribute to the greatest funk masters of the past, present and future. Some of our newest FUNK sound sculptures has been coined "chill urban sound, street mixed while true to funk traditions" Don't forget to smell your funk finger at the end of each show!

Question 1: What three things would you tell someone that has never been to a Pitch Black show to entice/convince them to come to one of your shows?
Pitch Black prides themselves on stellar performance and entertainment while moving the masses in way of dance. We preserve funk in its entirety, complete with funky dress and attire. We are the one and only "party on stage!". Pitch Black works the crowd and works for the crowd. These cats love what they do and it reeks of "the funky good times. "
Question 2: What are three future goals of Pitch Black?
Pitch Black is currently recording their debut album slated for release in mid June. The album is promised to tastefully deliver their unique twist on classic funk feel while bridging the gap to contemporary R&B. We are currently developing a live "DJ" vibe, including "Crossfading, Dubstep, Drops" and other innovative sounds and techniques always performed live by the "4 core on the floor". This year Pitch Black will continue to and pursue local Featured Lehigh Valley artists to showcase their talents while providing drop dead deep funk grooves.
