PHOTOS: Remember The Snow?

This winter has been weak. Where are the storms that used to bring us a foot at a time? I LOVE the snow!

As I sort through some of my past photographs, I get a glimpse of what winters once were. It's not yet February, so maybe there's hope yet!

As a photographer, I pray for snowy backdrops in the winter months. Not only are they beautiful for landscape photos, but family sessions in the snow can offer a unique feel.

Most of my clients prefer autumn foliage as the backdrops for their family sessions, but I always remind them not to discount the beauty of winter.

Bundle the children in colorful scarves and gloves. Have the little ones make snow angels. Start a snowball fight! Create a snowman together as I shoot away. It's all about the memories.
