East Penn Youth Cheer is well awarded, with medals, trophies, and complements at the Pocono Summit Cheer Competition!
Pep Squad ( second grand and under) brought their spunk, spirit, and rocked it at the Pocono Summit Competition Sunday, February 2nd. Pep Squad learned a new routine just weeks before the competition and impressed the crowd, judges, and coaches! Pep Squad’s crowd cheer was loved by many and they danced their way into the hearts of the crowd as well as the judge’s taking second place at the competition!
Junior Varsity Squad (fourth grade and under) entered the mat with back hand springs and high elevators, their routine was flipping awesome! A high energy stunt filled routine included jumps that defied gravity and dancing that had the crowd and judge’s eyes engaged until the very end. JV not only took 1st place in their category, but also had the 3rd highest score of the day! Keep in mind, the scores included girls on the high school level!!

Varsity Squad (6th grade and under) got the party started right with their high jump sequence. A tumble block, which included back walkovers, round offs, back handsprings and tucks kept the crowd cheering. Their off the charts music vibrated the floors and engaged the crowd as the Hornets danced and cheered their way to 2nd Place!
The EPYC crowd participation was so loud you could feel the bleaches shake. The EPYC parents are amazing and their spirit and support creates the atmosphere that the cheerleaders use to get pumped up and bring it on the mats! From cow bells, to shakers and signs, hearing the support makes them shine!

So proud to be a part of this organization as it grows and we make a reputation for ourselves. THANK YOU ALL for supporting us and the cheerleaders. We appreciate it!!!”
