EEEK! Calling Young Filmmakers from Middle School to High School
The Emmaus Arts Commission is pleased to announce its annual Student Film Festival

The festival has been entertaining audiences with some of the best student films from schools throughout the Lehigh Valley and this year returns to once again thrill and wow! Students are given 96 hours to conceptualize, shoot, edit and produce a 6-minute (maximum length) film. Organized as a school or team competition, winners receive cash and prizes and ultimately compete to have their films premier in the Emmaus Theater.
Here’s how it works: Student filmmakers are invited to Emmaus High School on Thursday, October 9 at 6:00 pm for a free, kickoff “how-to” class with industry professionals. Students in middle school and high school are eligible to participate in the annual Film Festival.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to submit your short film. Winning films are also displayed on the Emmaus Arts Commission website and on our YouTube site. Deadline for submissions is 6:00pm, Monday, October 13. $10 entry fee per team. Film finalists will be screened at Emmaus Theater followed by an awards ceremony. (Team members included on application receive free entry to the screening.)
