Elvis Costello, Beach Boys Playing State Theater This Fall
The State Theater in Easton will host some big name acts including comedians Lewis Black and Wanda Sykes.

Elvis Costello, the Beach Boys and comedians Wanda Sykes and Lewis Black are all among the acts scheduled to appear at the State Theatre this fall.

Elvis CostelloΒ will bring is his first solo tour in more than a decade to Easton onΒ Nov. 27.Β
A Grammy winning artist, heΒ is known for songs such asΒ "Alison," "Radio, Radio," "Pump It Up", βOliverβs Armyβ, "Watching the Detectivesβ, βSheβ and β(Whatβs So Funny βBout) Peace Love and Understanding."
His tour coincides with the release ofΒ Wise Up Ghost, a collaboration with Philadelphia natives The Roots.
The Beach Boys, one of rock music's longest-running acts,Β returns to the State Theatre later thisΒ month.
The group, led by Mike Love and Brian Johnston, comes to Easton for a showΒ Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Wanda SykesΒ has hosted her own talk show, and has been featured prominently on the sitcoms Curb Your Enthusiasm and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Her State Theatre show is scheduled forΒ SaturdayΒ Sept. 21 at 8 p.m.
Lewis BlackΒ is a comedian, actor and author appearingΒ Thursday, Nov. 21. As the theater puts in on its website, hisΒ "performances provide a cathartic release of anger and disillusionment for his audience.Β Lewis yells so they don't have to."
