Police say First Niagara Robbery Investigations Continue
Emmaus Police offer little comment on investigations into two separate armed robberies at the First Niagara Bank branch at corner of Lehigh and Harrison streets.

say that the investigation into last month’s armed robbery of the First Niagara Bank at 502 State Road in Emmaus remains ongoing.
Beyond that, Sgt. Charles Palmer of the Emmaus Police Department says police have no further comment on the – the second within six months at that branch, located on the corner of Lehigh and Harrison streets.

Initial reports on the April robbery described the robber as a black man wearing a mask and goggles and carrying a handgun.
The suspect in the October robbery was described as a 6-foot-tall black man who was wearing a black or dark-colored hoodie, black mask and black pants.

This week, Palmer refused to comment on whether the robberies are being investigated as related incidents.
No arrests have been made in either robbery.
