Emmaus Pool Closed Until Further Notice
A broken pump has caused the immediate closure of the Emmaus Community Pool.
The Emmaus Community Pool is closed until further notice due to a broken pump, according to Jess Wessner, cashier at Emmaus Borough Hall.
An automated phone call went out to borough residents today telling them that the Community Pool is closed indefinitely due to the failure of a pump.
The borough web site says repairs are beginning immediately and the Public Works Department "hopes to have the pump repaired by the end of the next week and the pool open for Labor Day Weekend."
