General donations made up the largest piece, and included contributions from a personal birthday Facebook fundraiser. Indeed, you can raise funds through Facebook for a cause or organization!

Have a birthday or special occasion coming up? Let your loved ones know you’d prefer donations over gifts. A fundraiser is easy to set up, and 100% goes directly to the library (no fees).

As always, healthy sales from the Friends’ Book Nook and cash receipts from printing, fines and fees added to last month’s results.

As we head into the homestretch, there are two important things you can do to support the library:

  1. Watch your mail for the annual fund letter and contribute what you can, or donate through the button below.
  2. Contact your local council members and urge them to allocate adequate funding for the library in next year’s budget (see links below). This is the time when budget discussions and decisions take place, and continued funding is never guaranteed. Your voice is needed to ensure the library can continue to serve you, your family, and the community:
