Five Things to Know About East Penn This Week
Here are some highlights of what's happening in East Penn School District this week.

- Be There or Be Square. East Penn School Board meets Monday night at 7:30 in the District Administrative Offices.Â
- 4th-Graders are on Their Own. The Alburtis Elementary School Homework Club meets from 3:30 to 4:30 on Tuesday, but this week, it’s only for 3rd and 5th graders. Fourth-graders aren’t invited this time around!Â
- Can’t Get Your Fill of Chick-Fil-A? Then be sure to come out and support Eyer Middle School’s 8th-graders for Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.
- Sadie Who? That’s right, it’s that time of year again. Middle schoolers from Eyer will pay homage to the time-honored tradition in which the girls ask the boys to the school dance. That will be followed by that time-honored tradition in which the boys stand on one side of the gym and the girls on the other. The Eyer’s Sadie Hawkins Dance is scheduled for 2:30 to 5 p.m. on Friday.Â
- Medieval Middle Schoolers. Or Lower Macungie Middle School-ers to be exact. Friday night has been set as the 7th-grade field trip to Medieval Times. Medieval Times beware!Â
