5. Who the heck is Pete Seeger? Pete Seeger, 93, who recently appeared on The Colbert Report, is an American folk singer who has been a driving force in the mid-20th-century American folk music revival. Among his most well-known songs are “If I Had a hammer” and “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?”
