Friday night marked Emmaus High School's first home football game of the season, however, the Hornets came up a bit short of the win.

The Whitehall Zephyrs defeated the Hornets with a 24-17 score.

Fans packed the EHS stadium as moonlight partnered with stadium lights to create a truly beautiful kickoff to the 2011 season.
