GOOD NEWS! Macungie Farmers
Market is opening for the season on Thursday, May 15th, at 4 p.m. The
Market is located in Macungie Memorial Park at the Walnut Street entrance. The
Market will be open every Thursday until October 30th, 4-7 p.m. (or dusk in
October), with the exception of Thursday, August 21.
The Market will have a great
selection of produce, baked goods, artisan breads, wine, prepared foods, and
much more. We have 18 vendors this season.
In addition to our returning vendors, the new vendors include: The
Daily Loaf selling artisan sourdough breads, bagels, croissants, crackers, pasties,
muffins and fruit tarts; K-9 Kafé Goodies selling dog treats, cat treats,
smoked bones and catnip toys; Flavours Amour selling prepared soups and salads
and Front Porch Family Farm selling raised beef, pork, chicken, eggs, prepared
foods and cheeses. Front Porch Family Farm will also be selling grilled foods
from their concessional trailer, such as smoked sausage, bratwurst, Italian
sausage, grilled boneless chicken sandwiches, ham BBQ and grilled prime rib
steak sandwiches with sides.
This year’s market offers cooking
demonstrations, live music, kids crafts, a puppet show and petting zoo. Macungie Farmers Market is a family
event. Come to the Macungie Farmers
Market and experience everything the Market has to offer for the entire
family. Stay for dinner too! Ample parking is available on street or in
